The 2012 OFFSHORE collection is a natural evolution of the preceding Panama collection, a consolidation of experimentation and research culminating in further exploration in design and materials, all the while raising the bar for SUPER and its competitors. Colour is key: soft translucent colours, new coloured acetates and coloured lenses, contrasts and tints, each combination carefully selected to ensure that the quality and design are not diluted. The OFFSHORE also sees the inclusion of a new quality photo chromatic glass lens by Barberini, set in their first ever full metal frames. Building on the concept they introduced with PANAMA, they extend their range of handcrafted prints, this time from a selection of vintage postcards and antique marine drawings, to a range of specially chosen silhouettes.
